Mathematics Department
Mathematics is a core subject that is really the backbone of good performance in a school.
For the school to move from a good school to a great school
the performance of Mathematics must positively improve.
If students improve in Maths they will automatically improve
in all other subjects because they have learnt to be patient
persistent even when things are not working in their favour.

Chemistry Department
Chemistry is a universal Science subject that requires universal skills which deals
with facts. All Science careers require Chemistry as either the 1st or 2nd subject.
Example: Medicine st requires Biology as the 1 subject and Chemistry as the 2nd subject.
In Engineering, Physics is the 1st subject, while Chemistry is the 2nd subject.
In Pharmacy, Chemistry is the first subject.
Science based careers can never be substituted by growing technology.

Biology Department
It is a subject that deals with study of living things. It has three major branches i.e.
Botany, Zoology and Microbiology.
It also has several minor branches.
This subject helps a learner to join various important careers such as medicine, dentistry,
agriculture, public health, veterinary practice and horticulture, public health engineering,
forensic science etc.

Rumours have it that Physics is difficult. However, in Mutira Girls we
have integrated Physics with ict hence making iton of the best subject.
